Holli Thompson - Advisory Committee Member

Certified Holistic Health Counselor, Nutrition Expert, Raw Food Chef Historic Farm/Vineyard Owner

Holli Thompson has dedicated herself to the study of achieving health through nutrition. Holli is also a Certified Raw Food Chef and has attended the Natural Gourmet Cooking School and is skilled in the art of healthy gourmet cooking. 

Through her videos and classes, Holli educates us all about how to enjoy life while eating to optimize our health. Through her consulting business, Holli mentors community leaders and top-tier business executives to discover their own unique Nutritional Style

Always on the forefront of the slowfood, organic and locavore movements, Holli (shown here at Polyface Farm with Joel Salatin) represents and supports these groups in all her endeavors.

Gemma - Volunteer

Our first-ever volunteer for the cause! Gemma is a Sophomore. Her interests include art, creative writing and especially anything to do with stage performance. Gemma has toured the Farmer's Market Circuit in Virginia since the age of 3 and understands the work that goes into a weekly agricultural event. As a volunteer for Loudoun Flavor, she is helping us figure out things like Facebook and Evites . This summer she will help to coordinate one of our pick up sites.

Want to be a volunteer? Can you commit to just 4 hours a month?
We need helpers to:

Sort and label groceries
Oversee farmer drop off (check off inventory as it comes in)
Meet & Greet Customers at our pick up sites & check off the pick up
Make copies of flyers/postcards and help distribute/advertise the market
Greet customers and assist to serve samples at Loudoun Flavor Tasting Events
Assist in general office tasks

5 Stones Healing Arts & Wellness Center

This non-profit organization offers free and/or low-cost health & wellness classes on a variety of topics. 5 Stones also offers seminars and lectures from experts in the field of alternative health. You can get involved via your tax-deductible donation or by attending the classes offered. Spread the word about this great community organization.
